Hey There!
DURING YOUR HONEY.BRUSH USE YOU MIGHT FIND SOME QUESTIONS. WE ARE HERE TO HELP
GOT QUESTION?
Can I use it on wet hair?
Yes, you can! You can use Honey.Brush on both wet and dry hair. When using it on towel-dried hair, always apply conditioner, oil, or a detangling product beforehand. This helps to brush your hair more smoothly and gently. For dry hair, you can add some extra oil for better performance.
Can I use it without any additional products?
Yes, you can, but we recommend using other professional treatments for optimal performance. It's important to detangle your hair without causing damage while also protecting and nourishing it.
Can the teeth break off from the brush?
Yes, this can happen over time as the brush is designed with your hair's health in mind. It won’t break your hair or pull too hard. Don’t worry if you lose some teeth, the brush will still work effectively with around 400 teeth.
How long will my brush last?
It depends on how frequently you use it. At home, it can last for years, in salon use, it can wear off faster. Always disinfect the brush and avoid letting hair dry on it.
What is the right way to use it?
Use it as you like, but we recommend changing the direction of the brush in your palm every ten combings to distribute the pressure evenly. Don’t push it too hard against your head or force the brushing. Be gentle and repeat the process several times rather than applying strong force.
Can I use it with hot tools?
Honey.Brush is made from extra durable materials, but we do not recommend using it with hot tools. The teeth are heat resistant up to 120 degrees Celsius, and the outer case up to 180 degrees Celsius. Most hot tools exceed these temperatures.
Can I use it on a red, sensitive scalp?
Honey.Brush is very gentle on the scalp, but always be cautious if you have any scalp issues. Identify the source of the problem and treat your scalp until it’s fully healed. Changing your hair color or shampoo might help. Always consult a professional.
Is Honey.Brush waterproof?
Yes, it is well-sealed, but water can get inside if placed under running water. To remove excess water, just shake it out.
Can I use it in my bath?
Yes, you can. Honey.Brush is designed to protect your hair and can help distribute conditioners and treatments evenly. However, always be gentle with your hair when it is wet, as wet strands are more prone to breakage.
Can I use it for color application?
Yes, but make sure to clean the brush thoroughly afterward.
What happens if it contacts bleach?
Bleach won’t affect the brush, but avoid leaving it in a strong bleaching environment for long periods as it can damage the logo and the teeth.
Can I use the brush at both the shampoo station and my styling station?
We recommend using different Honey.Brushes for different purposes. Keep one at your shampoo station for color or treatment applications and another at your styling station for detangling.
